#001: It’s exhausting being one person, never mind two! Confidence, Connections and staying in a growth mindset

I was excited to officially kick-off the podcast with Teresa Graham.

Teresa is the head of Global Product Strategy within Roche. She has been an influence without realising it in my own authenticity journey and I know you’ll gain some interesting insights from her as she talks about how she’s lent in and out of showing up authentically throughout her career. The impact it’s had on her and the importance of authenticity and trust when you’re in senior leadership positions.

What you’ll hear about:

  • The impact of changing how you show-up based on others feedback and your perceived reflections

  • The need for showing up authentically when you’re in senior leadership positions

  • People don’t know you, till they know you

  • The importance of self-reflection

  • Gaining confidence in yourself

  • A call to action for workplaces, that people are not willing to not be who they are anymore

  • Connections make us better colleagues, allowing for more creative conversations. Trust allows us to have difficult conversations

  • Interaction isn’t engagement

  • No-one gets it right 100%. Take it as an opportunity for growth

  • If you can’t feel good about what you’re being asked to do in a day. You have to make a different decision
